This 24-page ‘zine represents my first participatory research project on belonging. It focuses on the traditional land of the Tiwa Indians, also known as Albuquerque, New Mexico. The zine features:
- 5 maps of places of belonging
- 20 stories of places of belonging
- a description of the community-engagement process
- an essay of findings
- 4 reflection questions
I developed Belonging as the inaugural resident in Sanitary Tortilla Factory’s first artist-in-residence program. Learn more.
