Inter/dependence is a 20-page zine sharing the findings of a survey I conducted, the Artists’ Personal Impacts Survey. I asked over 112 visual artists 40 questions on the positive psychological benefits of their art practices. ]
Respondents emphasized relatedness via connection, community, and collaboration.
A subset of respondents who self-organized activities had stronger opinions, were more active, and were more likely to stay active.
